Our Tuition Programmes
Skinat Tuition provides structured online lessons for children across the UK, covering Maths, English and Science from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. Every programme is taught by qualified UK teachers and follows the National Curriculum carefully, ensuring that each lesson supports school learning, builds confidence, and helps children progress at a steady and manageable pace.
This page gives you an overview of the programmes we offer. Each programme page contains deeper detail, specific curriculum guidance, teaching approaches and examples of how we support students at different stages.
Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (Maths and English)
Ages 5–11
Our KS1–KS2 tuition focuses on building strong foundations in reading, writing, spelling, phonics, arithmetic and reasoning. Lessons are taught in a calm, encouraging way that helps younger learners build confidence and develop core skills that support long-term academic success.
We support children who need steady practice, those who need targeted intervention, and those who benefit from additional challenge. Lessons follow the National Curriculum closely, with opportunities to revise school topics, strengthen weak areas, and rehearse key skills.
Key Stage 3 (Maths, English and Science)
Ages 11–14
KS3 is a significant transition point in a child’s education. Students begin working with more complex topics, new text types in English, and deeper concepts across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Our KS3 programme builds confidence, strengthens underlying knowledge, and prepares students for the academic demands of GCSE.
Lessons include clear explanations, guided examples, and structured tasks that help pupils understand how to apply their learning independently. We also support organisational skills, study habits, and early exam technique, helping students feel more secure as they move through secondary school.
GCSE (Maths, English and Science)
Ages 14–16
Our GCSE programme is designed to support students through the challenges of KS4. Whether a student requires help moving up grade boundaries, needs reassurance with difficult topics, or needs a complete revision structure, our teachers deliver clear, supportive and exam-focused lessons.
We teach GCSE content for all major exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas, covering both foundation and higher tiers. Lessons include past paper practice, exam technique guidance, and topic-by-topic teaching to ensure students feel confident and prepared for assessments.
SATs Preparation (Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2)
Our SATs programmes provide structured preparation for Year 2 and Year 6 assessments. We support the specific skills needed for SATs, including arithmetic, reasoning, reading comprehension and writing. Lessons are paced carefully to help children understand the test format, manage their time, and build confidence.
We also offer practice papers and guided exam preparation to help children feel more comfortable with the types of questions they will face.
11+ and Grammar School Preparation
Ages 8–11
Our 11+ tuition supports children preparing for grammar school entrance exams, including both GL and CEM formats. Lessons cover Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning, with a focus on developing skills, accuracy, speed and confidence.
We provide structured practice for Year 4 and Year 5 students, mock-style questions, and targeted teaching based on the requirements of your chosen schools. This helps children approach the exam with clarity and confidence.
SEND-Friendly Tuition
All ages
We offer supportive and adaptable tuition for learners with a wide range of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety and processing difficulties. Our teachers use structured routines, clear modelling, visual supports and scaffolded learning to make lessons accessible and manageable.
SEND-friendly tuition focuses on building confidence, reducing pressure, and teaching new skills in a way that allows each child to progress at the right pace. Parents receive regular communication and updates so that home and tuition work together effectively.
Home Education Support

All Ages
Our Home Education programme offers daytime lessons, personalised learning plans and progress reports that can be used for Local Authority reviews. We support Maths, English and Science across all key stages and provide structured teaching that complements your home education approach.
Lessons are designed to build independence, strengthen understanding and support long-term learning plans, whether your child follows a traditional curriculum route or a flexible home education pathway.
Choosing the Right Programme
If you are unsure which programme your child needs, we can help. During your free consultation, we will discuss your child’s current school level, confidence, areas of difficulty, and future goals. From there, we recommend the programme that will support the best long-term progress.
