Never. Our teachers ask about your child's current class topics in the very first session. Every lesson is designed to reinforce and extend what school has already introduced — parents consistently tell us their children feel more confident and prepared in class as a result.

After every session you receive a short summary covering what was taught, how your child responded, and the next steps. We also send termly progress reports linked directly to National Curriculum expectations so you can see measurable improvement over time.

Yes. Every teacher at Skinat Tuition is a trained UK educator with subject expertise and DBS clearance. We specifically do not use university students or casual tutors — because your child deserves the same standards they receive in a school classroom.

We have teachers experienced in supporting children with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, processing difficulties and EAL. Our SEND-friendly approach uses clear routines, visual scaffolding, patient repetition and adaptive techniques — always in a calm, low-pressure environment.
