Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Skinat Tuition (“we/us”) and the parent or guardian (“you/your”) for the provision of online tuition.

1. Lessons & Scheduling

1. Lessons are delivered online via an approved platform.
2. Lesson durations are typically 55–60 minutes.
3. Parents are responsible for ensuring students arrive on time.
4. We will inform you in advance of any teacher absences and offer alternatives or rescheduling.

2. Payments & Billing

1. Lessons are billed monthly in advance.
2. Invoices must be paid by the due date to continue lessons.
3. Fees may vary by year group or subject.
4. No registration or joining fees apply.
5. We reserve the right to adjust fees with notice.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

1. If you need to cancel a lesson, please give as much notice as possible.
2. We will attempt to reschedule missed lessons where possible.
3. Persistent non-attendance may affect your child’s place.
4. Notice of 30 days is required to end tuition.

4. Student Conduct & Expectations

1. Students must behave respectfully during lessons.
2. Cameras must remain on unless agreed otherwise.
3. Students should complete tasks to the best of their ability.
4. Parents should ensure students have a quiet, safe learning space.

5. Safeguarding

1. All teachers have enhanced DBS checks.
2. All communication is between parents and teachers — not directly with students outside lessons.
3. Parents may be present at any lesson.
4. Concerns will be handled according to safeguarding procedures.

6. Technology Requirements

1. Parents must provide a suitable device and internet connection.
2. We are not responsible for connection issues on the parent or student side.

7. Data Protection

1. We comply with UK GDPR.
2. Personal data is used only for lesson delivery and communication.
3. Data is stored securely and never shared without consent.

8. Termination of Services

1. Either party may end tuition with required notice.
2. We may end tuition if inappropriate behaviour or safeguarding concerns arise.
